Step into a pivotal role at River, where your contributions will drive cross-company systemization, automation, and decision-making. As a Financial Operations Analyst, you will work closely with our Engineering and Product teams to shape the reporting framework for our new products. You will have a direct hand in developing and presenting financial and operational reports that guide our company's direction. You will become an expert on our internal ledger and data entries, ensuring a seamless flow of information. You will report directly to River's Director of Finance, ensuring that your insights and contributions are at the heart of our company strategy.

What you will do

• Partner cross-functionally with the product and engineering teams to ensure that new product offerings are seamlessly integrated into our reporting framework
• Master key elements of the company’s data schema
• Support and lead product specifications relevant to the Finance org
• Develop various financial reports, and present these reports to company leadership on a routine basis
• Support the monthly financial close and annual financial audit processes
• Lead and coordinate company-wide budget exercises spanning a dozen departments
• Manage recurring accounting and finance projects, including tax compliance and reporting, accounts payable and receivable operations, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and other ad hoc projects

Nice to haves

• 1-4 years of experience at a high-growth tech company or financial services firm
• Degree in Data Analytics, Finance, or Accounting
• Experience with SQL, QuickBooks, Tableau, or financial ERPs
• Familiarity with U.S. fiat payment rails, including ACH and FedWire
• Understanding of and passion for Bitcoin

• Salary range is $75,000 - $100,000 dependent on experience
