Job Responsibilities
- Optimize existing operational workflows, drive automation and efficiency improvements, and ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., SFC).
- Handle daily trade clearing, settlement, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
- Manage corporate actions processing (e.g., dividends, distributions, rights issues) and support back-office operations for IPO-related activities.
- Lead and coordinate back-office system projects, including system enhancements and new system rollouts.
- Identify and manage operational risks, and provide support for internal and external audits as well as compliance reviews.
- Work closely with technology teams and front/middle/back office stakeholders to ensure seamless operational processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 3 years of experience in securities operations or back-office functions; project management experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with back-office operations for equity and fixed income products, and solid understanding of trading and settlement rules in Hong Kong and major global markets.
- Strong experience in workflow optimization and automation, with the ability to drive digital transformation of manual processes.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong risk awareness, good understanding of regulatory requirements, and proficiency in English.
