ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a data-driven and structured Compensation & Benefits Lead to oversee compensation structures, performance frameworks, equity programs, employee benefits, and payroll operations across multiple countries. This role will lead the implementation of effective total rewards strategies, ensure compliance, enhance organizational efficiency, and support cost control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compensation & Job Architecture: Design and optimize job levels, salary structures, and pay bands across regions, ensuring external competitiveness and internal equity;
  • Performance & Salary Review Management: Develop performance evaluation systems and bonus distribution mechanisms; lead annual review and merit cycle processes;
  • Equity Program Administration (e.g., ESOP/RSUs): Manage grant, vesting, exercise, and offboarding; coordinate training and communications for employees;
  • Payroll Management & Team Leadership: Oversee payroll accuracy, payments, tax filings, cost forecasting, and budgeting; lead the payroll team, including team development and talent building;
  • Benefits Administration: Design and manage employee benefit programs (e.g., leave, insurance, wellness, checkups) to improve employee satisfaction and retention;
  • Data Reporting & Compliance Support: Build robust compensation and cost dashboards, support audits and compliance reviews, and stay updated on relevant labor and tax regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, or Data Analytics;
  • 8+ years of experience in Compensation & Performance or Total Rewards, ideally in multinational, tech, or financial sectors;
  • Strong knowledge of compensation structures, benefits frameworks, labor laws, and tax policies across multiple countries;
  • Hands-on experience in administering ESOP or RSU plans is preferred;
  • Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel and compensation/equity systems;
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with excellent cross-cultural communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
