About You
You're an experienced Solidity developer passionate about Ethereum and ready to make a significant impact in the growing world of DeFi. You have experience in early-stage startups and a deep knowledge of the DeFi landscape to join our team.
Qualifications
2+ years experience in smart contract development using Solidity, with a portfolio or examples of smart contracts you've written and deployed.
In-depth understanding of blockchains (L1/L2/cross-chain) and various protocol mechanics including Synthetic platforms, Stablecoins, Perpetual protocols, Lending markets, and AMMs.
Able to output provably secure and readable code but also capable of quick concept work to validate novel ideas.
Not afraid to try and validate novel ideas but knowing when some idea already exists as an import from eg. solmate.
Familiar with common tooling like Foundry and Hardhat. Comfortable with the complete lifecycle of smart contracts, including:
Testing and simulating behaviour of both live and local contracts.
Deployment of new contracts.
Observing, maintaining and upgrading live contracts.
Not afraid to communicate and ask for help or feedback.
Nice to have
Experience with integrating your contracts into web/mobile apps.
Experience with building subgraphs or similar indexing services.
Interest in lower-level EVM languages like Yul or Huff.
Experience working in agile development environments.
Active involvement in Ethereum or other developer communities.
Contributing to open-source projects and other similar acts of giving back to the community is a significant plus.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the overall technical design and architecture of Kresko, providing insights and expertise on best practices in smart contract development.
Develop, test, deploy, and maintain smart contracts, ensuring robustness, security, and scalability.
Work closely with the product and design teams to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and to implement new features.
Collaborate with the development team to integrate smart contracts with our web application, using technologies like Next.js and TypeScript.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technology, Ethereum, and DeFi, to continuously improve our platform and practices.
