About You
You are looking for a senior role as a founding team member, with the potential to step into a co-founder position, should the fit be right. You have experience in early-stage startups and a deep knowledge of the DeFi landscape to join our team.
Qualifications
Senior professional with startup founder mentality with experience leading engineering teams in early-stage startups with 3+ years of experience.
In-depth understanding of various protocol mechanics including Synthetic platforms, Stablecoins, Perpetual protocols, Lending markets, and AMMs.
Advanced proficiency in Solidity, coupled with knowledge about security and economic modelling.
Excellent organizational skills - ability to translate high-level goals into concrete plans and roadmaps.
Experience shipping Web3 products on EVM compatible blockchains. We will consider Web2 candidates who have a strong interest in Web3 and are users of DeFi protocols.
Ability to operate independently with limited guidance, making non-conventional decisions.
Nice to have
Experience or knowledge of different cross chain bridges and their unique security assumptions.
Experience building open source tools and working with open source communities.
Deep knowledge of globally distributed systems, cryptography, and security.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the founder and the protocol team to define and plan an engineering roadmap that aligns with our product strategy.
Design, optimize, and implement processes for measuring, planning, and executing engineering work.
Ship. Ship. Ship. Raise output and performance of our engineering team.
Manage engineering team, including offering career development, growth, and mentorship to engineers.
Please note, we work in a highly evolving (and must we say exhilarating) Web3 startup environment. We expect contributors to take ownership of tasks and have the ability work without much oversight.
