Full-Stack Engineer
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer who wants to help shape the future of DeFi with us, creating novel solutions to restore trust in on-chain lending and bring profitable investment strategies to our users. In this role, you will be pivotal in developing and maintaining our frontend, client, and backend. These three critical components will drive our rich user experience and a high degree of support for the protocol.
As an early team member, you will help shape not only the protocol but also who we are at GoldLink. You will set a technical standard for GoldLink and eventually the entire DeFi lending space. You’ll drive the product vision, creating elegant and data-rich user experiences that empower users to take full control of their funds and maximize returns. You will have the freedom and autonomy to shape the direction of our culture and platform, contributing your ideas and expertise to drive its evolution. You will be challenged with complex problem-solving in a rapidly evolving problem space, allowing you to expand your skill set and grow alongside the company.

About GoldLink
GoldLink is a pre-seed startup building technology that will redefine undercollateralized lending in DeFi. We are bringing a higher level of transparency, sophistication, and granular control to the market that will attract a new audience of institutional and retail users. We raised a $1.4M pre-seed round led by Polychain Capital.
Responsibilities
- Utilize your expertise in full stack development to architect and develop GoldLink’s frontend and support the backend.
- Take ownership of our client and develop several microservices, in tandem with Sam, critical for maintaining data visualization on the front-end, the API layer and services.
- Contribute to architectural decisions to ensure our applications' scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with team members and stakeholders effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and develop efficient and scalable code.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in full-stack development, particularly in DeFi/crypto domains.
- Utilize AWS services and infrastructure to deploy and manage applications.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, strongly emphasizing front-end development.
- Experience architecting and developing web applications, including front-end and back-end components.
- Strong skills in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Vue.js).
- Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java or others.
- Experience with database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and ORM frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and independently in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Have
- Background in DeFi/crypto, understanding the industry's concepts and challenges.
- Experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
- Ability to operate like a founder, challenging existing ideas and bringing fresh perspectives.
