Lead DevOps Engineer

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, this Lead DevOps Engineer will take the lead and manage workstreams for other DevOps team members towards building a secure, stable, and observable infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and have a great sense of prioritization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a DevOps engineer in startup environment
• Experience with AWS, GCP, k8s, terraform, prometheus
• Experience with security engineering or knowledge of best practices
• Experience with blockchain infrastructure is highly preferred
• Fluency in Chinese is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of DevOps Engineers
• Manage DevOps prioritization and infrastructure design
• Implement monitoring/alerting
• Oversee CI/CD implementation
• On-call during USA work hours, with EOD handoff to Asia team
• Establish security practices for devices, cloud infrastructure, and services
• Ensure global access control
• Implement secure onboarding/offboarding.
