Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.
We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.
We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.
If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.
About This Role
We’re seeking a Staff Enterprise Technology Architect to own the technical vision for how Crusoe’s internal business systems connect, scale, and evolve. This senior level role will serve as the highest-ranking technical voice within Enterprise Technology, defining the architectural standards that guide our team of senior system administrators.
Crusoe operates mature platforms across Finance (Oracle Fusion, Coupa, Sage Intacct), Construction and Operations (Procore, Oracle Primavera), and People (Rippling, Ashby). Today, these systems largely function independently. You will be tasked to design the unified architecture that connects them together; defining master data models, building a scalable integration layer, and establishing governance frameworks that move us from startup agility to enterprise maturity.
This is a greenfield architecture role first. You will focus heavily on system design artifacts and integration strategy before implementation begins.
What You’ll Be Working On
Leading greenfield architecture efforts, producing high-fidelity design artifacts including ERDs, context diagrams, data flow maps, and sequence diagrams
Assessing current-state architecture and defining a roadmap to address integration debt and platform limitations
Serving as the technical lead during software procurement, evaluating vendors on API robustness, data model flexibility, integration capability, and security posture
Defining enterprise master data standards to ensure unified entity definitions across Finance, Construction/Ops, and People systems
Designing and governing a scalable iPaaS integration environment with reusable patterns, robust error handling, and lifecycle management
Establishing secure API communication standards (OAuth 2.0, REST/SOAP) across all integrations
Acting as the architecture advisor to senior system administrators on complex cross-system initiatives
Partnering with InfoSec to ensure architectural designs meet SOC 2 and SOX requirements
-
Designing secure and practical RBAC models across enterprise platforms
What You’ll Bring to the Team
8+ years of experience in Enterprise Systems or Solutions Architecture, including 3+ years as a Solution Architect or Lead Systems Engineer
Demonstrated experience designing greenfield system architectures with tangible design artifacts (ERDs, data flows, context diagrams)
Deep familiarity with at least one core domain: ERP/Finance (Oracle Fusion, Coupa, Sage Intacct) or Construction/Ops (Procore, Oracle Primavera)
Strong understanding of business process flows such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Hire-to-Retire (H2R), and how they map to data models
Advanced SQL proficiency and strong experience with web services (REST/SOAP, JSON, XML)
-
Experience operating as a senior technical advisor without formal authority, influencing peers through expertise
Bonus Points
Hands-on experience with enterprise iPaaS platforms (Workato preferred; MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar)
Familiarity with Crusoe’s platform stack (Oracle Fusion, Coupa, Sage Intacct, Procore, Primavera, Rippling, Ashby)
Certifications such as Workato Automation Pro II/III, TOGAF, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
Experience in high-growth technology or infrastructure environments navigating startup-to-enterprise transitions
