Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role:

Embedded within our People Operations organization and partnering closely with our Enterprise Technology (IT) team, the Workday Senior People Technology Analyst will help drive the planning, configuration, testing, and long-term support of Crusoe's Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) implementation.

The ideal candidate is excited to join early in a major Workday program and stay hands-on from initial configuration decisions and workbook submissions through go-live and beyond. Candidates should bring strong functional Workday expertise (with comfort navigating technical concepts and partners), a sharp operational mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across IT, People Ops, and external vendors. You should be energized by ambiguity, able to prioritize in a high-velocity environment, and motivated by Crusoe's mission and the opportunity to build durable systems and processes from the ground up.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Support the planning, configuration, and delivery of Crusoe's Workday HCM implementation, partnering closely with People Operations and Enterprise Technology

  • Participate in requirements gathering, configuration decisions, and Workday workbook submissions through go-live and post-production support

  • Own functional administration for assigned Workday areas (e.g., Talent (Calibration and Succession Planning), Learning, Compensation/Advanced Compensation, Benefits/Open Enrollment; and/or Absence & Time Tracking), including end-to-end process support

  • Execute system testing (unit, end-to-end, and UAT), troubleshoot issues, and drive defects through resolution with internal stakeholders and implementation partners

  • Build and maintain Workday business processes, security roles, calculated fields, dashboards, and reporting to support HR operations and People Analytics needs

  • Support data loads and ongoing maintenance activities (e.g., EIBs and mass updates), ensuring data quality and auditability

  • Help enable and monitor integrations and automation tooling (e.g., Workato and vendor connections), partnering with IT/integrations resources as needed

  • Create and maintain documentation, playbooks, and standard operating procedures for People Technology processes and Workday administration

  • Provide day-to-day support to the People team, including triaging tickets, answering "how-to" questions, and ensuring a strong employee/manager experience

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, recommending solutions, and implementing scalable workflows as Crusoe grows globally

  • Lead release planning and regression testing for functional area

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., HR, Information Systems, Business, or similar) or equivalent practical experience

  • 5+ years of experience supporting HRIS/People Technology programs, ideally with Workday in one or more functional areas (e.g., Talent, Learning, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking/Absence)

  • Hands-on experience with Workday configuration and administration, including business processes, security concepts, calculated fields, and reporting/dashboards

  • Experience supporting key annual cycles such as open enrollment, performance/talent calibration, and merit/bonus/equity planning

  • Ability to partner effectively across People Operations, IT, and vendors to drive an end-to-end Workday implementation from planning and configuration decisions through testing and go-live

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of diagnosing issues, assessing impact, and driving to resolution in fast-moving environments

  • Clear, concise communication skills and comfort translating between functional People needs and technical system requirements

  • Strong project management skills, including managing multiple workstreams, timelines, and documentation (requirements, workbooks, test plans, and change logs)

  • High ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and create structure amid ambiguity

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation

  • Restricted Stock Units

  • Paid time off & paid holidays

  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance

  • Employer contributions to HSA account

  • Paid parental leave

  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability
