Crusoe co-locates mobile data centers with stranded energy resources, like flare gas and underloaded renewables, to deliver low-cost, carbon-negative distributed computing solutions. Crusoe Cloud is a managed cloud services platform powered by stranded energy that enables climate-friendly innovation in computationally intensive fields including artificial intelligence, graphics rendering and computational biology.

This role will report to the Accountant Manager and play a key role in the accounting team assisting with revenue, expenses, accounts payable.

A day in the life:

• Creating and sending invoices to customers

• Creating and maintaining customer profiles and accounting data

• Payment processing and cash collections

• Maintaining compliance with ASC 606 – Revenue recognition criteria

• Reconciliation of AR aging and associated clearing accounts

• Review expenses & post monthly accruals

• Prepare journal entries including but not limited to inventory, revenue, accounts receivable, accounts payable

• Assist in the month-end and year-end close process

• Ad-hoc reporting as requested

• Must be able to pass a background check

You will thrive in this role if:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of accounting, finance, or equivalent experience

• Have a CPA license or seeking a CPA license is preferred

• Self-starter with motivation to drive improvements

• Must be able to communicate effectively with a widely dispersed team

• Keen attention to detail and is comfortable with accounting software, spreadsheets, and other accounting and financial processes

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• This role is a hybrid, 3 days in office 2 days remote

• Experience working with Sage Intacct, Expensify, Floqast, and Coupa is a bonus

Compensation Range:

Salary Range: Starting at $80,000 - $100,000. Stock options are included in all offers. Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data
